This year the Ontario Meat and Poultry competition attracted over 115 entries that will be tested by knowledgeable, influential judges including retail buyers, media, and chefs determining the Platinum, Gold, and Silver award winners, which are presented at the MPO Awards Gala.

Winners for Platinum, Gold, and Silver were announced at a gala event held in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Judging criteria was based on flavour, aroma, texture, uniqueness and visual appearance, and the top three entries from each category were selected based on the judges’ combined scores.
This year Halenda’s Meats took home 9 awards at the 2022 Ontario’s Finest Meat Competition! We are so grateful and honoured that we have won these product awards.
